We’re looking for a 3D Artist with focus on general prop design, terrain design and some degree of level design to join us at the Apog Labs’s Malmö office for our next major project. The employment is offered as a full-time project specific employment (projektanställning) spanning at least one year with the opportunity of joining us permanently if the project and we as a team are successful.
What you will do • Manage the delivery of props for the entire project, including creating props from scratch • Craft and implement a large world terrain • Assist in level design • Design documentation • Have lots and lots of fun as we truly believe that this project is a 3D artist’s dream Who you are • You enjoy the thought of having a big impact on the project’s art direction • Proficient with Unreal and Blender (or other relevant 3D suite) with at least one to two years of working experience • Able to craft and assemble props of both organic and non-organic type, ranging from industrial electronics to lush plants • A collaborative team-player • Fluent in both spoken and written English
Other desired experiences you might have • Several years of working experience from the video game industry • An education within a relevant field • Experience from developing and shipping a full game • Experience from working with character animation, rigging and related practices • Experience working from a TA (technical art) perspective Who we are We’re a small indie lab of three developers with offices in Game Habitat’s DevHub in central Malmö, Sweden, founded in 2017 and the makers of Airport CEO, the universe’s biggest airport tycoon game where you build and manage an international airport.
